In August 2023, Roots in Guinea Bissau Cultural & Development Initiative 501c3, took bold action to combat the severe food scarcity crisis gripping Guinea Bissau. Through the collective generosity of our supporters, we successfully raised over $500, which was promptly utilized to procure essential food and supplies. This life-saving aid was then distributed to the remote Fula village of Sonaco on November 18th, 2023.
